Founded by Ann Ogbomo and Cherrelle Skeete in November 2023 after appearing in the Sky TV documentary Untold Stories: Hair on set.

Ann and Cherrelle combine their diverse skills and experience to collaborate with and support industry professionals from performers and hair and make-up artists to producers and commissioners to improve the landscape of Hair and Make-up in British TV and Film.

Currently it is not the norm for all hair and skin types to be suitably considered and provided for in the British entertainment industry. This lack of consideration and provision has adverse impacts on performers, hair and make-up artists, agents, producers, commissioners and even trade unions.

Ann and Cherrelle have set up a growing network of over 300 performers and consult with key industry professionals to advance best practice and progressive proposals towards hair and make-up equality.

By December 2025 they hope their story will be complete.
